This unit will protect your equipment from Damages Caused by line fluctuations, Surge and spikes, under all normal conditions. But your equipment can still fail or damage itself by it’s own component failure or other environmental conditions such as higher temperature or humidity, sea spray, and damages causing insulation breakdown. Fuses are meant to blow in short-circuit situations. But on partial over leads the fuse may not blow till the transformer of other components gets severely damaged. Installation
- Plug the Power Guard (TV) into the well socket and the equipment power to the three-pin socket on the Power Guard.
- When the red indicator light is not the Power Guard should come on.
- After the specified time delay the Green indicator light will slow ensuring power to the equipment.
- If it continuously indicators red it means there is low or high line power.
